Trophy support finally coming to Metal Gear Solid 4?

A snapshot of the revamped “Greatest Hits” box for Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots has seemingly confirmed the addition of Trophy support for the critically acclaimed stealth-action sequel.

Fans have been clamouring for the feature to be added to Solid Snake’s epic swansong since its release back in June 2008. To date, however, no plans have been set in stone to retrofit the title with Trophy support.
Series creator Hideo Kojima recently mused over the possibility of creating a ‘Complete Edition’ of MGS4 that would include Trophies and various other additions, though admitted he simply didn’t have the time to contribute to such a project.

I lost hope for this trophy patch a very long time ago. Honestly, if it isn't a packaging print error it will be one of the biggest surprises I will have ever had.

I hope when they will release the patch adding it, you will get trophies based on the saves and statistics from the playthroughts you have already done. I wont replay it again, but to hear bing bing bing bing etc just after you install the patch would be great.

The Re-installments after every chapter and the, very long cutscenes have been a turn off for me to replay this game, but I kept it in my collection because it's MGS I will never trade it in, but with the addition of trophy's I might finally go replay it. Do it Kojima I hope this is real... I'm still upset Snake didn't get Meryl SMH

I'm a MGS hoe. I will replay this countless times for trophies. I only played through it 3 times because I was busy with games during its release. I have 4 copies of this game (2 US, 1UK, 1JPN) with one of the US copies signed by Kojima,Otacon & Yumi. WIN!

Not sure if i am the only one thinking this but i hope they had a feature that allows you to watch all of the CS like a actul movie like how they did when they brought out MGS 3

Whether i'ts a patch or an exclusive greatest hits package, I'm getting them damn trophies. I haven't played it in a long time, so it'll be nice and refreshing to play again, especially with trophies.

This must be what I hate most with kojima, not being able to make a "simple" patch for trophy support for MGS4!
