Square-Enix has officially blown the cobwebs off a release date for the PS3-exclusive Tomb Raider Trilogy, confirming the Lara Croft compilation will be somersaulting on to store shelves on March 25, 2011.

As previously reported on PSU, the bundle includes HD revamps of Tomb Raider Legend and Tomb Raider Anniversary, as well as a copy of Croft's latest outing, Tomb Raider Underworld.

Meanwhile, gamers will also get access to the Tomb Raider Trilogy PS3 theme pack, an official Lara Croft Home avatar, the Viking Thrall male Home avatar and a heap of ‘Making Of’ trailers.

Darrell Gallagher, studio head at Crystal Dynamics, commented: "We're really excited to be able to offer gamers the chance to play both Legend and Anniversary 'remastered in high definition on the PlayStation 3."

"These are two titles we are extremely proud to have created."

I have never been a fan of the ''Tomb Raider'' series (no offence to all those who are), but seeing lately in the Playstation Store that skin pack featuring Raziel and Kain from the ''Legacy Of Kain Series'', which was the first reference to the franchise in this console generation, seemed as if the studio was researching about the ppl interest on the series and that pack had very good ratings (about 4,7 out of 5). I just hope that Crystal Dynamics makes a new game from the ''Legacy Of Kain Series'' universe (Soul Reaver, Blood Omen, etc) which is one of my favourite classics and, in my opinion, the best ''Vampire genre'' games ever. Sorry for getting out of topic.

This will be excellent. Ive always liked Tomb Raider, shame they weren't better games but those three were definitely better than some of the others. Anniversary being my favourite for obvious first game reasons.

$40? Im sold. Underworld, IMO, was pretty fun... and it goes for $20 by itself. I wanted the other two, but they were only on 360.

Right now it comes down too "If the ports are good"
