Rumor: Far Cry 3 could be out this year

A sequel to open-world outing Far Cry 2 could be blasting its way onto store shelves by the year’s end, according to the chaps at Official PlayStation Magazine (via CVG).
The publication teased: "Start taking the malaria medicine in preparation: Far Cry 3 could be arriving before the end of the year."
As it stands Far Cry 3 has yet to be formally announced, though rumors of its development date back to last summer.

man i can't wait! i cant imagine what the injury animations are gonna be in this one, nothins cooler than having to crack all your fingers back into place lol. there was a pretty brutal glitch i encountered in the game though, everytime i was rescued by one of my buddies, immmediately after i was revived he/she started shooting me, so i had to kill a buddy every time they came to my aid. anyone else see this?

I'll give my own opinion on FC2 it was &^^*&^&G$£Y%$^£$^ rubbish and I mean rubbish it was boring as h$%l story wise the game was bugged up more than a charcter in A BUGS LIFE the enemy and there stupid checkpoints that would come back in 5 mins was annoying.
Stealth never exsisted and it was pointless in buying a silenced weapon or Sniper Rifle heck in the camo suit you still got seen in long grass, I remember a kill with my silenced MP5 about 50yrds away in long grass I watched as another guard walked upto the dead body and instantly went into CSI South Africa mode. In that 3 secs he worked out the bullet direction, distance and where I was and started shooting at me he also probably knew how many bullets I had left and if maybe I have any cake on my character as well.
Far Cry 2 was a s^&^$^ game end of and online I aint even going to bother with that.

Great News! I hope they include a map editor again, that's what made Far Cry 2 so good and so different from all the other FPS's!
