Oddworld studio Just Add Water’s confirmed that it is prepping an April 28 reveal for a mystery new title, said to be a revival of a canned project from the 1990s.
That’s about all that’s known on the game at present, which comes via an interview with the chaps at Eurogamer at Nottingham’s recent GameCityNights event.
Also shown off at the event was Just Add Water’s HD update of Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath, which throws in 720p visuals, improved character models, self-shadowing, tweaked dialogue, PlayStation Move support as well as an assortment of extra, as-of-yet-unknown goodies.
Just Add Water has its hands full in 2011, with the studio previously pledging that it’ll deliver four Oddworld titles by the year’s end.
Stay tuned for more details on Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath, as well as Just Add Water’s mystery revival project here at PSU as we get them.
