[UPDATE] Even though Playdead have previously denied any plans for ports of Limbo coming to other platforms, it seems once word got out of Limbo’s existence on PlayStation 3 and PC (including the tip given to PSU), Playdead CEO and co-founder Dino Patti was left with little choice but to confirm that it is indeed coming to PlayStation Network and Steam ‘very soon”.
Playdead also mentioned that they are halding the port
In a recent tweet, @PlayStation mentioned that “LIMBO is Headed to PSN in July".

As previously mentioned on an erroneous ESRB listing, a PlayStation version of Limbo – a critically acclaimed 2010 indie XBLA-exclusive title release – is in the works for PSN.
A Korean ratings board has posted a listing filed by Sony Computer Entertainment Korea for a PlayStation 3 version of Limbo pending release on PSN.
Developers Playdead have been vocal in the past about Limbo being Xbox 360 exclusive. But other previously released ‘Summer of Arcade’ indie exclusives have come to PSN in the past (Castle Crashers, Braid).
Limbo is a dark and disturbing side-scrolling platformer, filled with traps and environmental puzzles to traverse. An eerie atmosphere keeps the player on edge during a little boy’s adventure to find his sister.
Stay tuned to PSU to hear more on a PS3 version of Limbo.
[UPDATE] A source with close connections to the project, who wishes to remain anonymous, tells PSU that a PS3 version of Limbo has been in the works for a while. In conjunction with the ESRB and Korean Rating Board leak, this news seems to be all but confirmed.
