Sonic 1 included in Sonic Generations

SEGA has confirmed that the forthcoming Sonic Generations will include the Genesis/Mega Drive classic Sonic the Hedgehog as a playable extra.
According to Sonic Team’s Takashi Iizuka, the Blue Blur’s iconic debut will be featured as an unlockable title in the game, though didn't elaborate any further.
Sonic Generations sees the spikey speedster working his way through a variety of iconic stages spanning his 20-year career, including levels plucked from Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic Adventure, and Sonic Heroes.
The game hits stores in November for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and 3DS.
