Free title update announced for Soul Calibur V

Namco Bandai announced today that Soul Calibur V will get a free title update in North America on March 21. The update includes new online ranked game search optimization, gameplay tweaks, and character balance adjustments for the entire roster based on player feedback. The updated version will be used for the Soul Calibur V Worldwide Finals taking place on April 10.

The competition takes place at the Cosmopolitan hotel and casino in Las Vegas, and brings together the best players from around the world to compete for a prize pool of $10,000 USD. Namco will provide transportation for fans in the Los Angeles area to the finals. You must be at least 21 with a valid license to attend the event. More details will be announced.

Look for monthly DLC costume packs for Soul Calibur V, with the first pack arriving on April 3.
