Metal Gear Solid HD on PlayStation Vita will be released in late June 2012, Konami has revealed.
Unlike its console counterpart, the PS Vita version of the stealth-‘em-up package won’t include Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. Rather, it’ll simply contain high-definition revamps of Metal Gear Solid 2 & 3.
However, both games will feature all-new touchscreen controls to take advantage of Sony’s new handheld device. You can also use the TRANSFARRING (Konami’s words, not ours) to transfer game saves between the PS Vita and PlayStation 3 versions of the game.
The Metal Gear Solid HD Collection originally hit PS3 and Xbox 360 in the U.S. and Japan last November. A European version turned up in February this year.
