Red Faction II confirmed for PS2 Classics range

Sony has confirmed that shooter Red Faction II will be made available as a PS2 Classic on the U.S. PlayStation Store this week.
Originally released on PS2 and PC in 2001, Red Faction II takes place five years after the events of its predecessor, and utilizes an enhanced version of Volition’s Geo-Mod engine.
The sequel features an intricate storyline packed with multiple objectives, with gamers able to control a variety of vehicles while battling foes with the back-up of elite squad members.
Currently it remains unknown if the game will be released on the European PlayStation Store or not, though we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
