Darksiders II release date officially set for August

THQ has come outright this afternoon and announced the final release date for Darksiders II as August 26.
Darksiders II was initially slated for launch on June 29, but was then delayed vaguely into August to strengthen and fine-tune the game further. THQ said that Darksiders II has been pre-ordered five times more than the first installment had been, which is great, since Darksiders sold very well.
Once against, Darksiders II is set for release on August 26 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
