Rockstar San Diego, the development team behind the critically acclaimed Red Dead Redemption, is purportedly collaborating with Rockstar North on Grand Theft Auto V.
That’s according to the LinkedIn profile for Jonathan G., a former Rockstar senior artist who stated that he “worked on Grand Theft Auto 5 at Rockstar Dan Diego” between March 2011 and March 2012.
As it stands, Rockstar North is the only studio currently confirmed to be working on GTA V, though it’s not the first time they’ve collaborated with another developer in the Rockstar family. The company teamed up with RS San Diego to work on Red Dead Redemption, and Team Bondi for L.A. Noire.
GTA V was officially announced back in November 2011 via a brief teaser trailer, though nothing else has been seen on the game since. Furthermore, the sequel is not expected to be at E3 next week.
