Bethesda is prepping downloadable content for 2011’s FPS Rage, according to a listing on PEGI.
The European ratings body contains a filing for Rage: The Scorchers, which ties in nicely with the name of a clan that was cut from the retail release of the id Software-developed shooter. As such, it looks pretty likely that the clan is set to see the light of day as DLC.
Rage was released in September 2011 to rave reviews, though Bethesda has admitted that the future of the series remains undetermined. However, the publisher has expressed hope that it will be able to make the game a major franchise at some point.

I agree with #1, then ending was balls, just a 30 second cutscene and not even a boss. I did enjoy Rage, but overall I found it to be quite lacking and a bit of a letdown. However, it was fun, and DLC is welcomed. I'm not sure if I'd like this to turn into a franchise though, unless they can make some significant improvements.
