Sega is planning on bringing Dreamcast classic Sonic Adventure 2 to PlayStation Network and Xbox Live, according to a listing spotted on Xbox.com.
Snapped by NeoGAF user Kokonoe, the listing confirmed an October 3 release date, as well as offline multiplayer, DLC and leaderboards.
A few screenshots were also spotted, one of which depicted an on-screen prompt for the DualShock 3's circle button. The quality suggests a high-definition upgrade as opposed to a straight port.
Sonic Adventure 2 was originally released on Dreamcast back in 2001, and sees the Blue Blur and pals battling against Dr. Eggman and his band of baddies including Shadow the Hedgehog and Rouge the Bat.
The game was later ported to Nintendo GameCube under the moniker of Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, and went on to sell one million copies worldwide.
Stay tuned for more details as we get them.
