Fresh downloadable content is in the pipeline for Gran Turismo 5, series creator and Polyphony Digital big cheese Kazunori Yamauchi has confirmed.

Speaking with the Spanish PlayStation Blog, Yamauchi-san revealed that ‘future improvements’ for the racer may include an event editor, while the developer is even flirting with the idea of adding a ‘story mode.’

Elsewhere, Yamauchi-san also touched briefly on the rumored PlayStation Vita version of GT5, making it clear the project is very much being kept under wraps.

“Well, this type of information is confidential and I still cannot talk to you guys about that,” he said.

Stay tuned to PSU.com for more GT5 gossip as we get it.

As long as this game has been out, most companies would have made a new game...I don't know what to think of this new dlc, but I love this game...It's gotten amazingly better since it's launch.
