Ubisoft has revealed the first details on Assassin’s Creed III’s Wolf Pack Multiplayer game mode.
The team-based affair pits up to four players against 25 waves of NPC targets to assassinate, though the situation grows more difficult as you progress.
Gamers must cooperate with each other in order to slay their targets, with players required to chase down their victims against the clock. You’ll earn bonus points for stealthy or stylish kills. As with previous games in the series, Wolf Pack includes the staple circular HUD to assist you in tracking your target(s).
Assassin’s Creed III has been in development for the past three years, and centres on the battle between the Templars and the Assassins in the midst of the American Revolution in the mid-late 1700s.
This time around players will control new hero Connor Kenway, a half-British, half-Native American assassin who bumps into a host of historical figures on his journey, including George Washington and Thomas Jefferson.
Assassin’s Creed III is scheduled to ship for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 30, 2012. A PC version will arrive by the end of the year.
