Eight new characters leaked for PlayStation All-Stars, including Dante and Raiden

It has not been a great weekend for developer SuperBot Entertainment with regards to secrecy. Diligent hackers have dug into the beta files for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale and uncovered a myriad of new details, including unrevealed stages and characters.
Now, thanks to some sleuths over at the GameFAQs forums, light has been shed on 20 characters AND their "minions", all of whose names appear in text files within the beta's code. While the actual gameplay purpose behind "minions" remains unknown, it appears that they consist of characters intimately tied with the playable fighter in question. Some may appear as part of the character's Super attacks, others may make stage cameos; who really knows at this point.
Here's the full list of eight leaked fighters, as uncovered by GameFAQS user rumbalumba and others:
Nariko - Heavenly Sword. Minion: Kai
Dante - DMC. Minion: Kat
Sir Daniel Fortesque - MediEvil. Minion: Kiya
Spike - Ape Escape. Minion: Monkey
Evil Cole - inFAMOUS 2. Minion: Nix
Sackboy - LittleBigPlanet 2. Minion: Sackbot
Raiden - Metal Gear Rising. Minion: Sam
Ratchet - Ratchet & Clank series. Minion: Captain Qwark
We'll update this article as more secrets are uncovered. Remember, until this information is confirmed by Sony or SuperBot Entertainment, this information must be taken with a grain of salt.

It's clearly not a full list. I wonder who Sam is? Maybe someone who helps raiden out Otacon style in MGR? Or it could be the other cyborg ninja with black hair.

@2 NeoGAF users have pointed out that Sam is probably a character from one of the MGS Rising trailers who looks kinda like Vamp.
