Zen Pinball 2 dated for PS3, PS Vita

Zen Studios has slapped a September 4, 2012 U.S. release date to the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita versions of Zen Pinball 2.

Presumably the European release will follow as part of that week’s PlayStation Store update on Wednesday, September 5.

The pinball simulation title will boast cross-platform functions including shared global leaderboards, online friend challenges and tournaments. It’ll ship with 26 tables, with any Zen Pinball 2 purchase netting you the PS3 and PS Vita release at no extra cost.

Zen Studios has confirmed that fresh tables will be released on a regular basis via the PlayStation Store. Furthermore, the company has revealed that one upcoming table will be based on one of Popcap Games’ ‘mega hits,’ and is to be unveiled at PAX Prime in late August.
