Heavenly Sword 2 concept art surfaces

The original Heavenly Sword attracted quite the cult following among early PlayStation 3 adopters back in 2007, and as such many were disappointed to learn of Sony’s decision to cancel the proposed sequel a few years back.
However, while Heavenly Sword 2 sadly won’t see the light of day anytime soon, some juicy concept art on the hack-‘n-slash sequel has surfaced online this week, offering us a glimpse at what might have been.
According to reports, the game’s enemies were known as the Ravens, and followed a chap known as the Raven King, who appeared to have samurai-like design influences. This particular foe was a major enemy in Heavenly Sword 2, with the Ravens themselves described as vain and evil.

I enjoyed it as well. Even had nice boss battles. Sure the rest of it was a little GOWis in the fighting controls but it had a distinct flare to it. I do think they will bring it back someday. She was beautifully designed...with the flowing red hair and the motion-capture animations were nice. The game while a bit short was wonderfully written and produced. A sequel would be nice. Those that haven't played it would do themselves a favor and pick it up. Definately won't be disappointed.
