BioWare’s Aaryn Flynn has confirmed that fresh DLC for Mass Effect 3 is in the pipeline, among which includes the single-player offering Omega.
Due out this autumn, Omega takes place on the titular, crime-filled city seen in Mass Effect 2, and was previously due to be included in Mass Effect 3 as part of the core adventure. The mission will see Shepard aiding Aria T’loak in taking back her home from Cerberus.
That’s not all, however. Mass Effect series boss Casey Hudson has confirmed that a brand new entry in the franchise is being planned, with BioWare currently chewing the fat in regards to what direction they’re going to take.
Furthermore, BioWare indicated it is working on new IP for the next-generation of consoles, though didn’t elaborate any further on the matter.
"Casey [Hudson, Mass Effect series boss] and his leads are putting together their vision for an all-new game set in a fictional universe, built from the bottom-up with all new gaming technology," said Flynn.
All of this juicy info comes following the shock departure of BioWare co-founders Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk, who will be leaving the games industry altogether to pursue new careers.

I already knew this was going to happen but it's great to hear some confirmation. I'm excited for whatever they got for us.
