Kingdom Hearts HD Collection will support Trophies, coming in 2013

Just 24 hours ago, Square Enix dropped a bombshell at Tokyo Game Show 2012. Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX was revealed, and Keyblade Wielders the world over rejoiced at the opportunity to play Kingdom Hearts and RE: Chain of Memories in glorious high-definition.

Borderlands 2 nabs biggest U.K. launch of 2012 so far

Borderlands 2 has become the U.K.'s biggest-selling videogame launch of 2012 so far, eclipsing Mass Effect 3's record. Released in Blighty last Friday, the Gearbox-developed sequel topped Mass Effect 3’s record by over 4,000 copies

Saints Row: The Third – The Full Package announced

Saints Row: The Third – The Full Package will be released in the U.K. on November 9, THQ has announced. The Full Package includes a copy of the barmy actioner in addition to three major DLC packs, namely Genkibowl VII, Gangstas in Space and The Trouble with Clones.

Assassin’s Creed 3 sequel depends on feedback, says Ubisoft

Speaking to Eurogamer, Julien Laferrière, associate producer of Assassin's Creed 3, said that AC3 could receive a sequel or two if the fans want them.

Rumor: Earth No More in works at 3D Realms

3D Realms is working on a new first-person shooter known as Earth No More, according to a listing on crowd-funding site Gambitious.

The post-apocalyptic blaster is listed for release on PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 on the Radar Group, where Scott Miller, founder of 3D Realms, also serves as chief creative officer.

Onimusha reboot in the works?

According to the latest issues of PSM3 UK (via CVG), developer Spark Unlimited has been tasked with rebooting an ‘adventure series’ for Capcom. The magazine speculates that the franchise in question is Onimusha, the demonic hack-‘n-slash series that made its debut back in 2001 with Onimusha: Warlords.

PSN Day 1 Digital announced

PlayStation Network is about to get a whole lot sweeter, thanks to an initiative called PSN Day 1 Digital. The new program, announced moments ago over at the official PS Blog, seeks to provide day-and-date digital releases of triple-AAA games right alongside their retail counterparts.

Bayonetta developer: PS3 version was ‘our biggest failure’

In an interview with EDGE Online, Platinum Games described the PlayStation 3 version of 2010 sexy action-thriller Bayonetta as "our biggest failure."

Mass Effect 1 coming to PS3

Electronic Arts has confirmed that the original Mass Effect is coming to PlayStation 3, as both a standalone release on PlayStation Network and as part of the Mass Effect Trilogy.

Assassin’s Creed Ezio Trilogy announced

Ubisoft has announced that the Assassin’s Creed Ezio Trilogy will be released exclusively for PlayStation 3 this holiday season.

Due out on November 13, the bundle will set you back $39.99 and includes all three games covering Italian stallion Ezio Auditore’s part in the Assassin’s Creed saga: Assassin’s Creed II (plus all DLC), Brotherhood and Revelations.

Joe Danger dev: ‘Don’t ever piss off PlayStation fans’

Fans of the 2010 racing-platformer Joe Danger were happy to receive a sequel, Joe Danger 2, a couple weeks back. That is to say, Xbox fans - after months of silence, not a single detail on the PlayStation 3 version was dropped by indie developer Hello Games, and the game's Xbox release date came and went with nary a peep on when PlayStation fans would receive the same content.

Metal Gear Rising Collector’s Edition includes plasma lamp

An image posted on Greg Miller's Twitter account has revealed that Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will receive the Collector's Edition treatment. No pricing has been announced, though the bundle will include a soundtrack, special packaging and a high-frequency plasma lamp.
