The lead CGI artist behind Capcom’s Resident Evil GameCube remake has joined the development team for upcoming Survival Horror title Project Zwei, it has been confirmed.
News comes following a post from developer Tango Gameworks on the game’s official blog, which states “the lead CGI artist from Biohazard Rebirth’s environments will be acting as lead environment artist of this project.”
“Rebirth is widely considered one of the most atmospheric titles of all time. All things considered, Project Zwei looks to be a stand out title in every regard. While no platform has been set, it is said to be arriving in the later portion of 2013.”
Project Zwei is the brainchild of Resident Evil father Shinji Mikami, who also directed the Resident Evil remake back in 2002.
The title is described as a “true survival horror experience”,” which will no doubt delight gamers who have become disillusioned with the genre’s offerings in recent years.
Resident Evil remake is widely considered by fans to be the quintessential Resident Evil title as far as the classic games go. In addition to incredibly detailed pre-rendered backdrops – which look amazing even by today’s standards – the game features new areas, enemies and puzzles compared to the original PlayStation version.
Stay tuned to PSU.com for more details on Mikami-san’s new title as we get them.

That's not an official blog but a fan site created by myself, it's quite clear. I'll take the mistake as a nod to the design though and thank you. Regardless the info has only been taken from trustworthy sources.
