BioWare has confirmed that the next entry in the Mass Effect series is currently in the early design stages.
Writing on Twitter, series overlord Casey Hudson encouraged fans to reply and let the developers know what they’d like to see from the sci-fi sequel.
“We’re in early stages of designing a completely new Mass Effect game. What would you want to see in it?” said Hudson.
Mass Effect 3 concluded Commander Shepard’s tale in the epic space saga, though BioWare made it clear that did not spell the end of the franchise as a whole. One thing is certain though; Mass Effect 4, or whatever it may be called, will not feature Shepard in any shape or form.
Mass Effect 3 is still being supported via post-launch content, the next batch of which comes in the shape of the Omega mission, due out this holiday season.

Can still have Shepard, just not playable. have him as an admiral or something. He was to great of a character to not be seen or talked about in the future series of Mass Effect.
