Sledgehammer Games has announced that it is hiring for a new Call of Duty title for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
The studio, who worked on last year’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 alongside Infinity Ward, is on the lookout for a Senior Environment Artist.
Posted on Gamasutra, the posting reads: “We are actively recruiting top talent for our Call of Duty development team. If you are passionate and driven to do your best work, and have a desire to work on the most successful FPS franchise in the history of video games, please apply online.”
The successful candidate “will be expected to create single-player and multi-player levels under the direction of the art director and the creative director.” The role also calls for multiplatform experience, asking that candidates “will insure that the level works on all relevant platforms, Xbox 360 , PS3.”
Next year’s Call of Duty is no doubt already in the pipeline, and it has already been rumored that we’ll be seeing another entry in the Modern Warfare franchise hit shelves in 2013. However, nothing official has been confirmed as of yet.
In addition, it has also been suggested that the next game may be released for next-generation systems in addition to the current crop of home consoles.
