In PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, every character in the roster is given an intro, rival battle, and ending in the game's Arcade mode. Some of the character's motivations make more sense than others, and Sir Daniel Fortesque of MediEvil fame's story of being called out from his resting place to save the land from anevil entity seems fitting of the character.
Editor's note: Minor spoilers for Sir Dan's narrative in PlayStation All-Stars follow. Read at your own risk.
Upon slaying Polygon Man, Sir Daniel returns to his coffin. His spirit returns to the Hall of Heroes as a MediEvil gargoyle narrates. Part of the last line of Sir Dan's ending caught our attention.
"...he knows this will not be his last adventure."

Is Sony simply stating that a hero's work is never done, or could this have larger implications? Is this original PlayStation star going to receive a sequel in the form of the long-awaited MediEvil 3? Will there be a PS Vita game in the same vein as MediEvil Resurrection?
Let us know what you think in the comments below, and stay glued to PSU to find out what will be bringing Sir Dan back from the dead. In the meantime, check out our review of PlayStation All-Stars.

We need a full blown PS3 sequel... Sir Dan is one of the most charming characters to ever come out of Sony. Even more than a game, I would be blown out of the water by a Medievil movie.
