PSU.com reported yesterday that Dragon’s Dogma would be receiving fresh DLC in Japan in the shape of the ‘A Trial for Adventures – Challenge Pack.’

At the time it remained unknown if the content would arrive in the west, but now Capcom has confirmed that it will indeed see the light of day outside of Japan.

Speaking to CVG, the publisher announced that the DLC will be released on December 4 in the U.S. and Europe -- day and date with the Japanese release.

In case you missed our earlier story, the Challenge Pack includes a Speed Run and Hard mode for the acclaimed fantasy-RPG. Those of you who make it through these new modes in one piece will receive bonus equipment for your character.

Dragon’s Dogma will be receiving a major expansion pack in 2013 in the shape of Dark Arisen for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Stay tuned to PSU.com for more details.
