Hitman: HD Trilogy confirmed

The Hitman: HD Trilogy has been officially announced today by IO Interactive.
Due out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 early next year, the bundle includes high-definition revamps of Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman: Contracts and Hitman: Blood Money. No word yet on any additional content, but we’ll keep you posted.
In total, you’ll be able to experience over forty different missions spread across the three games, and makes for an ideal introduction to the franchise for newcomers. No doubt long-time fans will relish at the chance to experience the games again in HD too.
Hitman: HD Trilogy is due out on January 29, 2013 in the U.S. and arrives in Europe on February 1.

@1 Nonsense. No good reason great titles from before shouldn't be updated. It generates more revenue, and more people can get into those games.
With titles like The Last of Us to look forward to, I'm in no great rush. Interested, sure, but I can wait for the next generation.

Why would they add this new introduction so early? I mean Absolution just came out, so why make the new game sound boring. For some reason it sounds boring to me already, because of the fact that it's a short time-process of development. I don't know, I guess it's just me, lol! But trueful words/
Any of you guys have had contact with Absolution, I haven't so what's it like..?

Digilator, you need to stop crying about the mentioning of the 360 in our articles. I am a huge Sony fan of over 16 years, but I don't get my panties in a bunch over this, it just comes off as being insecure. We areconfident enough in the Sony brand to address our whole audience, and I can assure you many of our readers and forum members are multi console owners.

Digilator, bugger off and troll somewhere else. All we did is mention a console that the game is coming out on, everyone does it. Don't be so over dramatic about something so innocuous as saying 'Xbox 360.' Honestly, I thought we had got passed the days of behaving like a 12-year-old fan boy.
