As if the hype train hadn't already going off the rails over last night's leak of the first PlayStation 4 controller image, yet another image has surfaced showing the prototype from a different angle.

Click here to check out the first image.

In the new image, posted on GameTrailers' forums by user SquishyMuffin, everything that the first image shows can be seen in greater detail. First, you will notice the PS Vita-style D-Pad, followed by more rounded grips, a touchpad (that reportedly also acts like a button), the PS Move-like colored sensor at the top, and basic face buttons on the right. You also get a better view of the microphone/speaker directly above the PS button, alongside probable "Start" and "Select" buttons on each side of the touchpad. What appears to be a headphone jack is clearly visible in this image, but whether it appears in the final design remains to be seen.

At the moment, these images are suspected to be prototype designs, but we suspect the final product will be close to what you see here. Make your voice heard in the comments below; what do you think of this new controller design?

wow it looks terrible to me, to be honest i prefer the dual shock 3 controller better, i mean i favor the touch pad crap but Im more of the interacting with button smashing crap than touch thing and pretty sure to be more responsive than the touch just saying.

If the final design of the controller looks close to this then Im fine with it, but I hope the extra ones doesnt cost and arm and a leg to buy.

    2/20/2013 cant come quicker

I actually like the more rounded grips - it looks a LITTLE like the 360 style, which is definitely comfortable, we'll see. D-pad looks phenomenal, just like Vita's. Wish we could get a glimpse of the triggers...

Im really interested to see if that mic/speaker is going to make it to the final build. I really do like the Dpad on it though.

Yes it looks bad but they are trying to compete with the 360 controller and this looks more like that than the original.

Some people have humungous hands, I have large hands but not abnormally large so I'm ok with the current design. Also the analog does look better and more like the 360 analog...i don't care about the placement even though i would prefer 360's. But the problem with that is that i prefer the way d-pad is nicely within reach of your thumb. so it's a trade either way.

overall it's ugly but if it gets the job done, who cares. i bought the dildo, i'll be fine with this.

How are some of you saying that it looks more like the 360 controller, when it looks a lot like the original design? I have both the 360 and PS3 controller sitting right here next to me, and im comparing them to this pic myself. Some of you have a poor sense of judgement when it comes to comparing. The 360s controller has fat grips on it, not thin ones. M$ controllers are too bulky and heavy.

I bet this controller will cost $99 to start, with the console at $399-$499 - its the vita's memory card strategy at play IMO.. WHICH I never complained about, I own a 32GB card, just wish they made a 64GB card, mine is almost full

Ugly!!!! And cheap looking. And the joysticks remind me of an uncircumcised penis.

Well as many negatives about this I am thinking just the opposite.  I like the extra add-ons and hope the mic/speaker make it as well as the headphone jack.  Also, I find the move and touch screen to be a nice touch.  I want more and this control has it.

It looks pretty cool. It will change abit from what you see though I'm sure. And for those wondering, of course it will be cordless!
