In honor of the release of PlatinumGames' Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, the studio's previous game Vanquish will be free for PlayStation Plus members tomorrow.

Directed by Shinji Mikami, creator of Resident Evil, Vanquish is a fast-paced sci-fi action shooter for the PlayStation 3 and is filled with a variety of weaponry and acrobatic slow motion sequences. You play as a government agent named Sam who's fitted into a high-tech combat suit and must fight to protect the United States from Russian forces.

Also coming for free to the PS Plus Instant Game Collection is Mega Man Maverick Hunter X (PlayStation Portable, compatible with PlayStation Vita) and the Dust 514 Starter Pack (PlayStation 3).

It's too bad, only for the sake of Vanquish, that this Platinum Games title will also be available when its newest one, Metal Gear Rising, is launching. Granted, I want to play both, but, since I'm hard for Metal Gear, Rising will get priority.

Rising will also get my priority but I will download this tomorrow and play it eventually. Gotta love ps
