Aussie gamers looking to get their mitts on Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be dismayed to learn the hack-‘n-slash title has been delayed.
The Platinum Games actioner was originally pencilled in for release in Australia on February 21, but will now arrive next week – Tuesday, February 26 to be exact.
A spokesperson for Konami’s Australian distributor, Mindscape (via Kotaku), commented:
"Unfortunately due to a last minute shipping delay, the Australian and New Zealand release of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be delayed by a few days to the 26th of February. As gamers ourselves, we're committed to ensuring that Australian release dates align with global launches and we're working hard to ensure that this problem doesn't occur in the future."
Metal Gear Rising arrives in the U.S. today and hits Europe on February 22. Read our review here.
