The super-violent, top-down action game Hotline Miami will launch on PS3 and Vita this Spring.

Developed by indie studio Dennaton Games, the game was released last year on PC and received rave reviews for its gritty violence, enjoyable soundtrack and appealing depiction of 1980s underground Miami.

Said to be influenced by crime drama film Drive, Hotline Miami features a wide variety of melee and ranged weapons as players navigate each location taking down bad guys before battling against an end-of-level boss.

Hotline Miami will be a cross-buy title, meaning that if you buy it on one platform you get it on the other for free!

Check out the announcement trailer.

I'm really, really excited for this. The game's concept always kinda intrigued / creeped me out, so I'm glad I'll get to experience it on a PlayStation console with a good 'ol DualShock.
