UPDATE: PSNStores.com is reporting that firmware update 2.06 is now live on PS Vita.
Original: Sony has announced via Twitter that a new firmware update is coming to PlayStation Vita soon.
The update, v2.06, will "improve system software stability for some features." The language couldn't be more vague, but our editors have recently experienced issues with Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus, Little King's Story, and MLB 13 The Show. It's not unreasonable to think that game fixes could be folded into this update.
Stay glued to PSU.com for more on this breaking news as it develops, and sound off in the comments with features and fixes you'd like to see in an upcoming PS Vita update.

The main feature I would love to see is to make the rear touchpad the main vehicle for scrolling up and down the screen. How many vita owners can attest to having sweat an or grease streaks all over screen which blurs the images lol. Also please make Facebook and twitter "Small Apps" so they can still be active during gameplay otherwise their pretty useless seeing as you won't be able to receive updates and notifications while playing. Lastly the web browser. Just fix it or allow Firefox to make an app.

Doesn't make sense why such a powerful machine can't handle multi-tasking. That and the interface needs a massive overhaul as it looks and feels clunkier than Susan Boyles face.
