The creator behind the Alice: Madness series has touched base on a possible third instalment.

American McGee took to Facebook to quiz fans on what they’d think of a potential Alice 3, specifically if they would play the game and back its development via Kickstarter.

1) If we could get the rights from EA, would you play Alice 3?
2) If you'd play Alice 3, would you back it on Kickstarter?
3) If you said yes to those two things, make some noise - I'm trying to gauge interest in case I happen to discuss this with EA during GDC in two weeks. The more interest there is, the more seriously they'll take the conversation.

The latest Alice title, Alice: Madness Returns, was released in 2011 to luke warm reviews. The game failed to set tills alight too, meaning a sequel probably isn’t on Electronic Arts’ list of ‘things to do.’

Recently, McGee hit the headlines for accusing the publishing powerhouse of poor marketing, though later retracted his statement.
