Soul Sacrifice demo out today, progress transfers to full game

A demo for the PS Vita exclusive Soul Sacrifice is out later today and any progress you made will transfer to the full game should the demo spark your fancy. This isn’t one of those 5 minute demos that barely scratches the surface; instead, the Soul Sacrifice demo includes the full first chapter from the game and it’s all playable with up to three other friends via online or ad-hoc multiplayer.

The full game features dozens of hours of gameplay and the demo is not only a way to sample the full experience, but also to let you get a head start on the adventure before it officially releases.

The save data will carry over to the full game. If you do carry over demo save data to the full game, you’ll also get a bonus item: Spirits Hearts. It summons a powerful stone golem to fight by your side.

The demo offers single and multiplayer modes–ad-hoc and online–but all online features for the demo will be terminated and no longer available when it officially launches on April 30.
