Persona 5 domain registered by ATLUS parent company

Persona 5 has been rumored to be in the works for years now (ATLUS developers have dropped hints here and there), but it looks like the long-awaited JRPG sequel is far enough along to warrant a domain registration.

The news comes courtesy of NeoGAF (via Destructoid), where member Goby discovered the domain listing for PERSONA5.JP, registered by Index Corporation on June 25, 2013. The timing of this filing could mean that a formal reveal for Persona 5 is imminent. It could also just mean that ATLUS and Index Corp. (who is currently fighting allegations of fraud) are securing the domain for much later use.

God, I hope it's the former.

Persona 4 Golden, a PS Vita remaster of the original PS2 game, was one of PSU's highest-rated games of 2012. I still say it's the very best game on PS Vita (Persona 3 Portable ain't bad, either).
