With the momentum gained last week during the Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer reveal, Activision plans to come in swinging this week at Gamescom. Bringing Call of Duty: Ghosts, Destiny, and Skylanders SWAP Force; CEO of Activision publishing Eric Hirshberg believes that they will have “some of the most talked about and anticipated games at the show.”
Activision’s booth will be fully equipped with a “massive footprint of stations” to allow for a completely immersive experience into their multiplayer minded games, Call of Duty: Ghosts and Destiny. The demo-theater for Destiny alone will be largest ever built in Gamescom history with a seating capacity of 192 people and a height equal to that of a three-story house.
As for Skylanders SWAP Force, attendees of Gamescom will be able to get their hands on the sequal to Activision’s best-selling title in the SONY Computer Entertainment Deutschland booth and will playable on both the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation 4.
The Activision booth will also be featuring an interactive “Show Mode” that will be showing video and gameplay footage from the aforementioned games in a panoramic 190º theatre experience.
