Killzone: Shadow Fall multiplayer ditches EXP, introduces challenge-based system

The Dutch developer also shed some light on Shadow Fall’s weapons, confirming the sci-fi FPS won’t include recoil-less or auto-aiming firearms. They’ll be skilled-based though, and can be complemented with up to two different attachments at any one time.
Another new feature comes in the form of the Spotlight System. This comes into play at the climax of each match, offering a brief glimpse at the top three players from both the winning and losing teams. Here, one of the winning players can pick a Spotlight move to celebrate victory; fail to act in time though, and the losing team can counter with a move of their own.
Guerrilla confirmed that Shadow Fall will come packaged with a variety of Spotlight moves out of the box, but more will be added in after release.
Lastly, this latest Killzone won’t ship with Exoskeletons or Jetpacks:
“Their inclusion would introduce a wide number of new variables and exceptions to account ror," said Guerrilla, “and we want to focus on offering fair, reliable and consistent Warzone customizability.”
Killzone: Shadow Fall is due out in the U.S. on November 15 and in Europe on November 29.
