GTA V iOS app connects directly with game from anywhere

Rockstar today released an Grand Theft Auto V-integrated mobile app called iFruit, which allows you to customise your cars and play with Franklin's dog, Chop.

The car modification portion of the package, called Los Santos Customs, allows you to modify one of your cars while away from the game. You are also able to reserve personalised number plates, which you need to get 'before they're gone'; this limited supply presumably only extends to GTA Online.

Chop the Dog is the segment of iFruit that allows you to train, play with, walk with, fight with, and look after your canine friend. Tricks taught in the app will be available in the game, and you'll also be rewarded in-game for looking after him properly with a more helpful Chop, and he'll also have new collars that you can earn in the app.

Take a look at the full details here. The app is available for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.

Will you use the app? Let us know in the comments below.
