Sony denies new policy against PS4 game selling, Yoshida clarifies

Sony, who has recently come under fire for changing its terms of service to ban the resale of PlayStation 4 games, except under stringent conditions, has possibly changed their minds.

The confusion arose from the fact that Sony’s PS4 games resale policy, according to its official page states, "You must not resell either Disc-based Software or Software Downloads, unless expressly authorized by us and, if the publisher is another company, additionally by the publisher."

However in a quick U-turn, Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida has taken to Twitter to confirm this doesn’t seem to be the case.

Yoshida-san was asked the following, to which he replied "yes".

As of yet there are no official details from Sony as to how this comment alters its terms of service, but stay tuned to PSU for more details as they are revealed.
