Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann has Twitter teased the company’s next project during a brief chat with Shuhei Yoshida, the President of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios (SCE WWS).
Druckmann, who worked on The Last of Us as a producer, didn’t reveal anything substantial, merely commenting:
“Awesome! Glad you enjoyed it [The Last of Us: Left Behind DLC]. Now about that next project...;)."
Okay, so that’s about all we got, but we know Naughty Dog is currently working on the next Uncharted title for PlayStation 4, so this is a separate project entirely.
However, with Naughty Dog recently admitting it is considering either a new IP or a follow-up to The Last of Us for its next title, Druckmann’s comments are still extremely tantalizing.
Geoff Keighley of GameTrailers fame is getting pretty worked up about the news too, which can only be a good thing...right?
