Marvel Entertainment today released a teaser for Avalanche Software's Disney Infinity 2.0 Edition, clueing at the long awaited addition of Marvel characters for the popular figurine-based video game.

The teaser, which is entitled "Get Ready to Assemble," sees a range of Disney characters toying about while Captain America's shield zooms past and lands on the face of the screen. We are then teased with "Bring on the Super Heroes," all but confirming the addition of more than one Marvel icon.

More elusive yet is the "2.0 Edition" label at the end of the teaser. Whether this marks a full on sequel or an updated version of the base game has yet to be confirmed. A plausible scenario would be that a PlayStation 4 version of the game is likely in development.
