PlayStation App 1.7 incoming alongside PS4 firmware update

Alongside the upcoming PlayStation 4 firmware update 1.7, rumoured to be available at the end of April, users of the PlayStation Mobile app can also expect some new features.

Dualshockers claims that the new update will give users the ability to upload profile pictures to the PS4 directly from their mobile devices. The screenshot below shows that the feature is ready to roll.

Sony has yet to confirm what other features, if any, will be available at the next update. In PS4 firmware update 1.7, users can expect a host of new features, including more control of video capture and the ability to preload games prior to release.
