PS4 will support stereoscopic 3D, Trine 2 among first next-gen 3D games

Finnish game developer Frozenbyte has taken to the PlayStation Blog today to announce it will be porting its side-scrolling platformer Trine 2: Complete Story, to the PlayStation 4.

Modern Warfare 4 not on the cards, says Infinity Ward

Infinity Ward’s Tina Palacios has confirmed that the developer isn’t planning on making a fourth installment in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare franchise.

U.K. Charts: Batman: Arkham Origins dethrones GTA V

Superhero prequel Batman: Arkham Origins has booted Grand Theft Auto V off the top of the U.K. All Format Chart following its launch last Friday.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 29

PS4 to be outsold by Xbox One at launch, says analyst

Colin Sebastian, an analyst with Baird, has said his firm expects the PlayStation 4 to be outsold by Xbox One during the launch period for both formats this November.

Titan 2 could come to PS4, hints Respawn

Respawn Entertainment has reiterated that Titanfall won’t be coming to PlayStation 4, but insisted the studio will still make games for Sony’s next-generation console — possibly even a sequel to Titanfall.

PS4, Xbox One sales to hit 10m by March 2014, predicts EA

Combined sales of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are expected to hit 10 million by March 2014, Electronic Arts has said.
