Warner Bros. looks to strengthen the LEGO series by bringing some very attractive gameplay features into the upcoming LEGO Lord of the Rings title.
The biggest change coming to the title is an open-world experience. This may be a full-on open world similar to what was introduced in LEGO Batman 2, or it could be something as big as, dare we say, Grand Theft Auto? Probably not, but the option to do more with LEGO avatars of our favorite characters is always a plus.
Crafting will also grace this next title, so you can create weapons and armor to better your players; and, hopefully, make them look different in the process. We can only imagine that, since these are LEGOs were talking about, the armor will make each playable character look different.
LEGO Lord of the Rings is set to release on October 30 for nearly every system available: PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Xbox 360, PC, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS.
