In case you weren’t already interested in PlayStation Network initiatives like Day 1 Digital and Cross-Buy, Sony has announced a new program that will put more money for purchases in gamers’ pockets.
This deal doesn’t have an official name, but the principle is simple. Throughout October, if you spend $100 on any PlayStation Network digital goods (games, movies, Plus subscriptions, etc.), you’ll receive $20 of PSN credit in November. That’s certainly a nice sum of money, and the wealth of exciting October releases should make it a cinch for frequent PSN shoppers to obtain. Even now, you could work towards that credit with a pre-order of Resident Evil 6, which we quite enjoyed.
Other notable October releases include Dishonored, Assassin’s Creed III, The Walking Dead: Episode 4, and Assassin’s Creed: Liberation. Let us know if you’re planning on picking any of these up, and whether you’ll be taking advantage of this generous promotion, in the comments below.
