Capcom Vancouver working on two new games

The developer behind Dead Rising 2 is busy beavering away on two unannounced titles.

Capcom Vancouver’s official website dropped the news via a general recruitment post, which states, “Capcom has one of the industry’s greatest back catalogs but for our next project we’ve been given the opportunity to create Capcom’s next big game.”

Still, don’t write off a potential Dead Rising 3 just yet; the no zombies claim seemingly pertains to only one of the projects.

“We need the help of smart, passionate and dedicated people to help us make our open world action games,” it added.

Dead Rising 2 was released in 2010 and received a number of extra content in the form new missions featuring original hero Frank West. In addition, the entire game was reimagined with West as the main character in Dead Rising 2: Off the Record.

Rumors have already started circulating about a third game, which will apparently take place in the fictional setting of Los Perdidos.
