Super Stardust HD gets a sneaky update

The PSN hit Super Stardust HD just received a sneaky update in Europe, and we’ve got the low down for you on all the features.

At the moment, you’ll need to delete the title and re-download it from your download list in order to upgrade to v2.02 of Super Stardust HD. In a fit of joy, you’ll discover that your imported DualShock 3’s will rumble as you pilot your little ship through each planet. We’re also psyched to blast some comets to our own beats, as custom soundtracks are now available from within the game.

Also new is an online store, available directly from the main menu. This contains a "Single Player expansion" and a "Multiplayer expansion," both of which are currently marked as coming soon. The high score board now displays score, highest rank, session time and the time that the score was submitted. Finally, you’re now able to track how long you’ve played, how many of each enemy you’ve killed and how many times you’ve completed each level in the new game statistics section.

We’ll let you know when this incredible update makes its way over to the US. Until then, we’re going to go finish one of the most addictive PSN games to date.
