Sony has officially published the newest software update for the PlayStation 4.
Officially labeled software version 1.71, this update has only very little to offer, following a much more substantial update a month ago. Where version 1.70 offered new editing software, options to turn off HDCP, and ability to dim the DualShock 4’s light bar, version 1.71 simply improves system stability, as per the update details on the update itself.
Until we discover smaller changes that may have been included in version 1.71, please let us know in the comments below if you’ve discerned any alterations to features, menus, or options.
