Tesco Direct has pegged Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End for release on July 31, 2015, according to the retailer’s official website.
Typically, we see Uncharted games hit stores in the fall/winter period, although Uncharted: Golden Abyss was the first title to buck this trend.
Furthermore, Naughty Dog is no stranger to releasing a blockbuster title in the traditionally dry summer period, with The Last of Us launching on PlayStation 3 in June 2013.
Of course, this could very well just be a placeholder, so don’t read too much into it until we hear otherwise.
Uncharted 4 was shown off in great detail at the PlayStation Experience over the weekend. To date, Sony has only offered a vague ‘2015’ launch window for the hotly anticipated sequel.
