Mass Effect 4, pleasingly, ‘feels like Mass Effect,’ says producer

The producer behind the next installment in the Mass Effect franchise has provided an update on the hotly anticipated science-fiction epic, following a playthrough of the latest build with BioWare’s Aaryn Flynn.

Fortunately for fans, it seems that Mass Effect 4 is shaping up rather well, as evidenced by Michael Gamble’s musings on Twitter (via GamingBolt):

Gamble also shot down comments that Mass Effect 4 will be an Xbox One-exclusive, dismissing the report as “just a rumor.”

Mass Effect 4 has yet to attract a release date, though it is expected to arrive some time in 2016 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.

So far, we know the game will not involve Commander Shepard, though it still remains unknown if it will be a prequel or a sequel to Mass Effect 3. Reports suggest the latter, however, and it has been confirmed the Mako, which was last seen in ME1, will appear in the game.
