Shuhei Yoshida wants to see ‘scary’ P.T. on Project Morpheus

The president of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios (SCE WWS) has expressed interest in seeing Konami’s P.T. on Project Morpheus.

Speaking with OPM UK, Shuhei Yoshida said he’s keen to see a scary title on Sony’s upcoming virtual reality headset, citing P.T. as the perfect candidate. That’s the Silent Hills demo, in case you didn’t know.

"Well, we always say to developers, ‘Don’t try to port your game—you need to approach it from the ground up for VR.’ That said, I’d personally like to see a game like P.T. working with Morpheus…something really, really scary," Yoshida-san commented.

P.T. (Playable Teaser) was released for PS4 last summer following Silent Hills’ debut at GamesCom 2014, and has been downloaded over one million times to date.

The game is a collaborative effort between Hideo Kojima and Hollywood film director, Guillermo del Toro, although the project’s status has come into question following the recent bust-up with Kojima-san and Konami.

Project Morpheus is due out in the first half of 2016
